Neil Martin is a founding partner of Ancorian and oversees the firm’s service business and investment and development activities. Neil has 20 years of experience in matters related to commercial real estate investment, development, management and leasing.
Prior to founding Ancorian Neil founded Finial Group, which became a multi-million dollar investment, development, brokerage & management firm under his leadership. Prior to Finial Neil worked in development and acquisitions for Hines Interests where he was involved in the acquisition of Williams Tower in Houston, Texas and One and Two Renaissance Square in Phoenix, Arizona. Other relevant experience at Hines included negotiations related to land dispositions; valuation, due diligence and offer pricing for distressed residential land; the repositioning of two trophy assets in downtown Houston; market analysis and pricing recommendations for the acquisition of a multi-family asset on behalf of a high net worth family trust; analysis related to new office and hotel projects and the predevelopment, capital structure analysis, equity placement and lease negotiations for a planned 350,000 SF office project in north Houston.
Before joining Hines, Neil was involved in the management of close to $500 million worth of new construction for W.S. Bellows and Hardin Construction Group. Some of these projects included the St. John’s School North Campus Expansion and Renovation in Houston, ConocoPhillips’ Woodcreek Campus Expansion and Renovation in Houston, BellSouth’s Lindbergh City Center campus in Atlanta and the BellSouth Advertising and Publishing Headquarters in Atlanta.
